Being rejected for a hug would never feel too good, so imagine if it was caught on camera for the whole world to see.
On Monday night both Jerry Seinfeld and Kesha walked the red carpet of The David Lynch Foundation's National Night of Laughter and Song.
While Jerry was talking to a reporter, Kesha came up to him and asked for a hug.
"I'm Kesha! I love you so much. Can I give you a hug?" she asked him, excitedly.
Jerry, unfortunately wasn't having a bar of it, answering with a firm, "No thanks." But, Kesha begged, "Please?" and it got even more awkward.
Kesha wasn't letting up just yet. Feeling third time lucky, she moved toward him and he physically held his arms up to her saying, "No thanks," again, and she finally retreated out of the camera.
Jerry then laughed and told the reporter, "I don't know who that was!"
When the reporter explained that it was Kesha, Jerry responded, "OK! Well, I wish her the best."
