In a new video with Architectural Digest, the 24-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star showed off her new LA hideaway. The house was previously owned by Charlie Sheen before she renovated it for a whole year.
"I’m really proud of what we accomplished here,” Kendall said in the clip. “This is the first home I’ve done completely, and I think it’s a genuine reflection of who I am and what I like.”
And, perhaps the most distinct thing about it compared to other celebrity homes (looking at you, Jeffree Star) is how glamorous and well-designed it kinda is? Within seconds of walking inside, Jenner begins to go through some of her beloved art and vintage collections in her home.
First, a colourful round sculpture by James Turrell called Scorpios—”I’m a Scorpio, so I hold this close to my heart”—that changes colour frequently and where she often comes to meditate. Next, a pair of modern art pieces with the words “Good” and “Evil” in her formal living room, a retro record player she bought herself for Christmas and a pair of “really old doors from Italy” her mum Kris Jenner gifted her hung up like paintings.
Her bedroom features an oversized bed, armchair and coffee table, and an assortment of books and lamps surrounded by copper energy rings she leaves around her home to help give her some fresh energy and good vibes.
The bathrooms are decked out with a “massive” stone (that’s right, SANDSTONE) sink that weighs about 300 pounds (approximately 136kg), a five-panel bathroom mirror, dual-basins and a golden bathtub.
She has an office space—linked to the house via an open hallway with an abundance of natural light—a personal art studio, makeup glam room for her beauty shoots and her own personalised Hannah Montana closet—separate to her actual walk-in wardrobe tied to her bathroom.
And, to keep all of her things in place, Kendall says she purges her closet every two months and “feels like a newborn baby every time [she] does it.”
