Kanye West announced the major news during a charity show where he performed alongside Chance The Rapper, telling his hometown crowd, "I gotta let Y'all know that I'm moving back to Chicago and I'm never leaving again."
Begging the question, what does this mean for Kim Kardashian and the couple's three children?
TMZ reports that Kanye and Kim have "already found a home" in the Windy City, but will also keep the property that they own in Calabasas. The outlet also reports that West will move his Yeezy offices from Calabasas to Chicago. Kardashian is yet to comment on the move.
The couple have such a strong affinity to the city that they named their daughter Chicago West after the city.
The 37-year-old KKW Beauty founder explained the special meaning behind the name during a recent episode of KUWTK: "The name Chicago… Everyone asks me where we came up with that and Kanye's originally from Chicago and the city is really connected to his memory of his mom and, so, we went with Chicago."
