He may be like, the most iconic millennial of our generation, but when it comes to using social media, he struggles.
Bieber attempted to be Shawn Mendes number one fan Instagram, posting an epic shot of him with the caption, "What a LEGEND. @shawmendez."
God bless his soul he not only tagged the wrong person, but that isn't even Shawn's name.
Fans are hilariously roasting him on Twitter.
Justin eventually corrected the handle in the caption, and Shawn Mendes himself even liked the pic.
It makes it more hilarious that Justin was once asked about Shawn in a radio interview, and at the time Bieber admitted that he had no idea who he was.
"Nice. Good for him. No, I don’t know him, but I will check him out. For sure," Justin said.
But not long after Bieber made the effort to get to know Shawn and make it public knowledge that he was a fan of his fellow Canadian star.
