RELATED: Jeffree Star And Manny Mua Are Being Sued For Their Collaboration
The makeup label claimed that the two YouTube stars had ripped off their logo on their packaging, and soon after many people were jumping on board to defend the makeup label against the BFFs.
Last night the two held a launch party in West Hollywood, California (which also happened to be Manny's birthday), and Jeffree wanted to "address the elephant in the room," and talk about the "crazy drama" that happened only that morning.
"His logo has been a moon for years and my logo's a star. We combined them. It was easy - the stars and moon align," Jeffree said.
"It's a true collaboration," Manny added.
"So, sadly, someone had a similar thing," Jeffree continued. But "everything is being handled legally. The collaboration's good. Everything's happening, and there's no more drama."
We aren't exactly sure how they will magically make the lawsuit disappear, but we'll definitely be keeping tabs.
Manny was particularly annoyed about the timing of the lawsuit, admitting that it was "frustrating" being it happened on the day of the launch party, but it was Jeffree who accused the brand of stirring up the drama for attention.
"A lot of people love to use my name for press and they love to get dramatic," Jeffree said. "Coincidences happen, but I'm really happy with the way everything turned out."
