But according to Variety, there is currently a spin-off of the series in the works over at The CW.

JTV writer and co-executive producer, Valentina Garza has signed on to write and produce the new series so you can except that same quirky style to be carried on.
The plot for the spin-off is currently under wraps but Variety has reported that none of the characters from the current JTV series will feature in this new project.
That means no more Rafael (Justin Baldoni) 😢
The spin-off will apparently be an anthology series with each season based on a fictional novel written by Jane the Virgin's main character Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Gina will actually be narrating the episodes.
