A few days ago, former Team 10 members Emilio and Ivan Martinez posted an emotional video about why they were leaving the group: because of Jake Paul.
The twins directed the video straight to Jake, saying things like, “you were mean to us for eight months. You bullied us for eight months. Now, it’s our time.”
Now, Jake Paul has responded.
“I am so sorry to the Martinez twins,” he began in a video. “Nobody should ever feel bullied and I truly apologise for not doing a better job as a leader and as a friend.”
He also pointed out that the language barrier was the big problem.
He continued, “With the language barrier between us, the twins weren’t always fully aware of what was going on and I should’ve done a better job making sure they were fully informed.”
He also explained how the boys, “never came to [him] or anyone and shared how they were feeling, which would’ve resolved the situation immediately.” However the twins explained that Jake would shut them down when they would go to him with concerns.
Jake concluded, “I never meant to hurt the Martinez twins and genuinely love them as brothers.”
The twins haven't responded to Jake's video, however they have tweeted recently:
