YouTube beauty guru Jaclyn Hill has come out and expressed that she might quit YouTube because of bullying.
Taking to Snapchat, she claimed that she is this close to quitting YouTube completely, after criticism over her collaboration with Morphe. "It's not fun anymore, you know," she said to fans.
"It's not fun for you guys, it's not fun for me. I've always said that if YouTube isn't fun then I'm not going to do it. There's other avenues out there for me for income. I'm not going to do something that you guys don't like and I don't like. Do you know what I'm saying? I just don't want to disappoint you guys."
She continued: "I just want to say this and I hope it doesn't come across as victim mentality because that's not it. That's not what I'm coming from at all. But as of recently, I feel like I really can't do much without being extremely criticised and looked down upon and scrutinised. And it just takes away the fun and the creativity and the motivation and the passion to do what I do."
Poor Jaclyn.
In June, her collab with Morphe Brushes was delayed due to poor YouTube reviews. The brand had problems with consistency and as a result, samples weren't very good quality.
Jaclyn recoreded a 44 minute long video responding to the reviews, and as a result, release dates were delayed.
