Us normal folk can change our Twitter bios as we please without a care in the world. We can add a link to our new fave website, we can chuck in a few extra emojis, heck we can even remove our bio altogether to leave a blank space (baby) and no one would notice.
But when you have a major hand in shaping your country and by extension, the world, people will sure as heck notice, and if you don't do it right, all hell will break loose.
Reality star Ivanka Trump (the daughter of one of Twitter's most menacing trolls, Donald Trump) recently updated her Twitter bio to remove the line: "Entrepreneur & advocate for the education of women & girls."
So what, she's not advocating for women and girls anymore?
The Twitter hordes were quick to notice and they've come for Ivanka, like we knew they would.
Most angry users have pointed out the fact that Ivanka's decision to change her bio to remove the advocating of 'women and girls' came at the same time that loads of women were fighting for their rights at the Women's March.
Therefore her social media update almost seems like an attack on that sentiment, no?
