The CNET team just tested the iPhone X's durability by completing a series of dropping tests to see how it would fare.
They dropped two phones from three feet high. The first time, the phone bounced, causing three of the four corners to crack.
The second time, they dropped the phone face-down, which caused the front screen to crack.
CNET notes that the phone still worked, but when they turned the phone back on, even more cracks were visible.
But that's not all!
They also noticed that the iPhone X is prone to scratches (which, btw, are more noticeable on the Space Grey edition).
The moral of this story is that we defs recommend purchasing a sturdy case to protect your iPhone X from an inevitable drop.
Legit, you'll thank us for that piece of advice later!
