According to TechCrunch, users selected for A/B testing will start receiving notifications the next time they screenshot, or have their own stories screenshotted.
This is not a drill, people.
The alert will appear as a camera shutter logo next to the name of the person who took the screenshot.
In a statement provided to TechCrunch, Instagram wrote: “We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you.”
This new feature is something that Snapchat already does.
It looks like we're all going to have to invest in a second phone purely to take photos of our screens.
