Instagram Introduces New Archive Feature
Whenever bloggers give advice as to how to curate the perfect Instagram account, keeping the grid uniform is a tip that always, always comes up. A certain theme, or a colour palette is imperative to maintaining and evolving your "brand".
With that in mind, Instagram has this week introduced a new feature that will allow users to archive posts. "Your profile is a representation of who you are and evolves with you over time," the social media site writes on their blog. "With Archive, you now have more flexibility to shape your profile while still preserving moments that matter."
Basically the image in question disappears from your feed and becomes only visible to you. It's really easy to use too. All you need to do is tap the "..." in the top, right-hand corner of the snap and select archive. If you change your mind, you can always tap "show to profile" at any time and it will reappear in its original post.
These updates are available as part of Instagram version 10.21 and above for iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android in Google Play.
