Women's health expert Sherry A. Ross has explained to Glamour, that not drinking enough water can make your vagina DRY OUT!
"A healthy vagina needs the same hygienic attention as any other part of the body, similar to the way we care for our face," she explained.
"The skin of the vagina is susceptible to dryness if not taken care of properly."
She also notes that it can cause itchiness, burning and pain, which could eventually lead to a yeast infection.
"Yeast and bacterial infections occur when there is a disruption of the normal pH balance caused by dehydrated skin in and around the inside of the vagina," she explained.
