Iconic lead actress, Viola took to social media to share her thoughts on the cancellation.
She penned in a heartfelt Instagram post, "This show has been the ride of my life! I am so proud to have been a part of a team of disrupters."

I am eternally grateful to her, Pete Nowalk and Shondaland for creating and bringing to life such a smart, sophisticated and groundbreaking series that has long been an integral part of Thursday nights on ABC."
HTGAWM's final season begins in the U.S. on September 26. No word just yet when and where it will be available in Australia.
Channel Seven has aired previous seasons in the past so let's hope it airs shortly after its American air date.
