Anyone who gre up watching cartoons in the nineties are going to freak out with the news that Hey Arnold! might be getting a revival thanks to Netflix.
The streaming giant have reportedly commissioned a sixth series of the classic Nickelodeon show, which originally aired from 1994 to 2004 with five seasons.
The cartoon had two spin-off movies, one in 2002 and one in 2017, which were well received with millennials (i.e. the people who would've watched the original series) but wasn't as successful in bringing in a new group of viewers.
"When the movie premiered, in your age group [millennial] we totally killed," the show's producer im Lang said in an interview on the Tunes/Toons podcast.
"With the Nickelodeon audience, not so great. So they decided, 'Nah we're not gonna do it.'"
He added: "Netflix, Amazon, Apple were all people that they were going to go out to with the idea of trying to make a season six of Hey Arnold!"
