Everything we know and love about To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a LIE and Twitter cannot handle it.
Okay, well not everything, but the most important scene in the film... the hot tub scene.
To refresh your memory, right before Lara Jean joins Peter in the hot tub, she was talking to Lucas about how she really likes Peter but doesn't think she can tell him, because of their 'fake' relationship. Lucas tells Lara Jean that Peter is pretty keen on her, and is probably waiting for her in the hot tub.
BUT GUESSSSS WHAT? He wasn't waiting for Lara Jean at all. He was waiting for Gen.
How do we know? Because in the sequel book, P.S I Still Love You, Lara asks Peter if he was waiting for Gen in the hot tub.
But he doesn't deny it, he just takes it instead and we ARE NOT OK.
