Caroline, 40, is a former Love Island presenter who was found dead in her East London apartment on Saturday (February 15).
"We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February," her family said in a statement.
"We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time and we would ask they make no attempt to contact us and/or photograph us," they continued.
Harry hadn't made any comments about her passing on social media yet, however his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan has.
After tabloids were saying negative things about the deceased Love Island host, Niall defended her.
“That’s our actual friend, a person,” he said. “Because she is talented and famous she automatically gets treated differently by society and in turn the tabloids and social media. The outcome is society’s fault.”
“Tabloids will never hold themselves accountable in any shape or form for any death,” he added. “I feel very sad for those who write these terrible articles simply for clickbait and a wage at the end of the year.”
