According to The Hollywood Reporter Styles has been screen-tested for the role alongside other major Hollywood names and heartthrobs, Ansel Elgort (Baby Driver), Austin Butler (The Shannara Chronicles), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Miles Teller (Divergent).
Harry Styles has the most chance though as most of the above actors are busy with other major film projects.
If picked, it will be the "Sign of the Times" singer's second major movie role. His first being Christopher Nolan's blockbuster film Dunkirk in 2017.
We have to admit, it would be a dream come true to see Styles rock Elvis's iconic white sequined jumpsuit.

Yep, we are already sold!
Luhrmann's take on the King of Rock 'n' Roll super-star will focus on his rise to fame. Toy Story's Tom Hanks has also already been picked to play manager Colonel Tom Parker in the film!
