Hailey Baldwin Admits She Suffers From Social Media Anxiety
Hailey Baldwin has gotten super real about how using social media effects her, saying she's found her obsession with it has led to anxiety and feelings of depression.
Opening up to The Times Magazine, Hailey revealed she's addicted to finding out what fans think of her online, but it's a dark path that often leaves her in the grips of anxiety.
"It definitely does something to the soul. There are times when I feel depressed or anxious and a big part of it comes from that. If we didn't have social media, we'd have a weight lifted off our shoulders."
It's an all to familiar feeling that most of us can relate to. You get FOMO and feel left out, but if you try and be someone you're not you never feel good enough! Hailey was honest about it and said the negative comments DO upset her: "It does affect you. People tell me I'm ugly, fat. I try not to care but the fact is, everyone wants to see what people are saying about them. Whoever says they don't google themselves is a liar."
Big hugs Hails <3 The most important thing to remember we think is that Instagram is NOT real life and never compare yourself to others, just do you and if you find yourself getting caught up in the social media grind, take some time out and have a 'phones away' lunch with a friend.
