We played 'firsts' with Keiynan Lonsdale and his first kiss sounded traumatic!
We have some pretty incredible stars in Australia, and most have been making their way to Hollywood very rapidly.
One of those incredible talents is Keiynan Lonsdale, who most recently starred in the AMAZING movie Love Simon.
Lucky for us, we got to sit down with Keiynan when he visited home in Sydney just recently, and boy did he dish on everything LS.
How did it feel to be part of a movie that had such an important message?
"Special... I feel really grateful and lucky to have the opportunity to be in and to tell a story that means so much to a lot of people."
Could you relate to the movie in any way?
"Yeah 100%. I knew at the time I could definitely relate because I had been struggling with my own sexuality for the majority of my life.
Did you have a favourite scene to film?
"I liked all the cafeteria scenes because it was the first time I had been in an American high-school. And I was like 'oh this is just like the movies!' And then Greg the director got us to have this huge food fight, and it was so fun."
