Unfortunately, the pair couldn't make it work. They have been on-again and off-again for years since starting their whirlwind romance, now, cementing their place as 'off-again'.
That was until Zayn tweeted his love for Gigi, making fans believe that they were somehow making it work for like... the third time.
Gigi has since addressed the rumours, with Us Weekly reporting that it is Zayn's issues getting in the way of their relationship.
According to the publication, the pair "still talk," but can't reconcile because Zayn has "major issues and [Gigi] knows they aren’t compatible."
We aren't sure what these major issues are, but Gigi apparently couldn't help Zayn get through them.
She "cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together," said a source.
"She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much."
Sure, the two might get together (again), but for now, Gigi is "very single".
