A video surfaced online of Finn, which shows fans waiting outside his hotel and asking him for an autograph on two separate occasions: when he leaves the hotel during the day, and later in the night when he returns.
"We're really big fans," someone says in the video, while another asks: "Do you mind signing?"
Finn doesn't acknowledge the fans, making one call out "That's so rude!" Now, the video has over 3,000 retweets on Twitter.
"Imagine being 14 and heartless that you can't even stop for your fans who made you famous in the first place! WOW," the video caption read.
Yikes.
However, co-star Shannon Purser (Barb) has come to his defence online.
"Okay, no. No actor is under any obligation to stop for anyone. Finn is an incredibly kind human. But he's human and he needs breaks too," she wrote.
"I experience this on a significantly smaller scale, obviously, but I've had people waiting for me in hotel lobbies, at my airport gate, etc.
"And I'm an adult. I can't imagine being inundated with all this attention at his age. It's intimidating."
"So, from one big sister to the world, don't you DARE make young actors feel guilty or indebted to you because they couldn't say hi.
"They give you their art. They love their fans. Don't take advantage of that. And if you can't handle them needing space, stay away."
Amen sister.
She's totally right in defending Finn, because no matter how exciting it may be to spot a celebrity you LOVE, you need to respect their privacy, and their decisions.
