However there is no bigger crime against cheese than inviting cheese enthusiasts to a cheese festival, promising them the world, only to provide this:
Over the weekend, a London venue held an event called Giant Cheese Board, and they promised unlimited cheese and everything else cheese related. But it failed. Hard.
According to attendees, the cheese was limited, the venue wasn't nice, and tickets cost $50 each!!
It's even been named the Fyre Festival of cheese. Yikes.
Event organisers have now hit back at all the hate, in a 1200 word Facebook post!!! They claim that the cheese supply was not finite, but was just rolled out over a period of six hours.
“If we felt that we had not provided any of the things included in your entry price then we’d be the first to hold our hands up and apologise but this is simply NOT the case!” they wrote.
“We are truly passionate about cheese and have put months of planning and huge investment into this project — we are obviously very upset seeing any negative reactions at all…but to make the statement some of you are in messages and social media is just totally unfair and false!”
