What character does he play on CAOS?
Gavin plays warlock Nicholas Scratch on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. While he has a minor role at the beginning of the series, he is one of the main characters in part two. Gavin told GF that he originally auditioned for the role of Harvey Kinkle, which ended up going to Ross Lynch. “I had originally auditioned for Harvey so I saw the script back then and was just like ‘This is a project to keep an eye on’.”
In the series, Nick Scratch eventually forms a relationship with Sabrina Spellman, played by Kiernan Shipka and the couple is known as ‘Nabrina’.
Where did he grow up?
Gavin moved to Oregon with his family when he was 18 but he was born in Maui, Hawaii. He now spends a lot of time in Vancouver, which is where Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is filmed.
What are his other talents besides acting?
As well as being a great actor, Gavin plays multiple instruments including the guitar, ukulele, and piano. As if that wasn't dreamy enough, he can also sing!
What did Gavin do for work before CAOS?
Gavin worked at clothing store Urban Outfitters for a while before he decided to pursue acting seriously. He eventually moved to LA to do this and he appeared in an episode of Grown-ish alongside Yara Shahidi as well as an ep of NCIS before landing his gig on CAOS.

The actor told GF how wild it has been watching his Instagram following grow – he had just over 1000 followers when he landed the role on CAOS and over a half a million following the first season. “It’s wild to see that number to just grow and to know that there are so many people that are a fan or are following,” he told GF.
