Now, with season nine approaching, Evan has revealed he will not be involved, and it's shocking!

Entertainment Weekly discovered a video on Twitter from the WonderCon red carpet, where a reporter asks Evan about the upcoming season and if he'd be involved.
"No, I'm gonna sit this season out," Evan explained, offering NO explanation.
All we can assume right now is that Evan either has AHS fatigue, is focussing on other projects OR MAYBE... it's because he has broken up with Emma Roberts for the 500th time, who is also a series regular on the show.
Regardless, fans will definitely feel his absence in the new season.
