‘Tis the season for horror our fellow grinches!
You season 2 has been given a new release date with Netflix officially announcing the thriller series will be back on December 26, otherwise known as Boxing Day.

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t watched season one of ‘YOU’ stop reading and go turn on Netflix NOW.
Netflix’s original series You – based on the novel of the same name – was a controversial smash hit when it first landed, with former Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley even having to remind fans of the show not to thirst over his murderous on-screen character.
Back in Septemeber, Netlfix accidentally leaked what many people assumed to be the official release date for the creepiest show on Netlfix in a now-deleted Tweet.
This Tweet indicated the premiere dates for shows, which would have meant You season 2 was 110 days after the Netflix tweet, making the release date December 30th, 2019.
Alas, Netflix was obviously not happy with themselves after they gave the game away, and have decided to bring the premiere date forward four days.
Hey, we’re not complaining.
Along with the date, Netflix also released a new poster image of New York City bookstore manager Joe Goldberg staring at new character (and probable new love interest/victim) Love Quinn, while his ex-girlfriend lurks behind.
What do we know about Season 2?
All we know so far by way of plot is that Joe leaves NYC for Los Angeles in an attempt to escape punishment for his crimes.
Joe meets a whole bunch of new people including Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), Forty Quinn (James Scully) and Ellie (Jenna Ortega).
Will Joe return to his ways as a murderous stalker?
The answer is most probably, yes.
