Wicked live action movie

Wicked, the highly successful Broadway musical is FINALLY getting a live-action Hollywood adaptation, and we couldn’t be more excited.

According to Deadline, director Stephen Daldry will recreate Elphaba and Glinda into action.

Universal was actually supposed to bring the award-winning musical to cinemas this year, but a series of delays mean Wicked has been pushed to December 22, 2021.

Wicked is the origin story of the characters from L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz book.
