KJ has recently spoken to The Last about his characters affinity with music, however he believes that he is much better IRL than Archie is. Oooft. The competition.

“I don’t know how to say it, but we’re not at the same level, you know what I mean?” he said. “Somehow I have to say that in not a cocky way, but he’s a beginner. Also, the songs that he writes, I don’t think I would listen to them. I do not have the same taste in music as him.”

You see, KJ is more of a rock music lover.

“I listen to a bit of everything, but mostly classic rock and punk rock,” he said. “I’m into harder stuff than Archie is.”

KJ actually learned how to play guitar at 11 years old, and he even performed an electric guitar version of “Mary Had a Little Lamb” for his Riverdale audition. Rock n’ Roll man…

He doesn’t, however, like to sing.

“Singing is really uncomfortable for me,” he said. “It was definitely dipping out of my comfort zone.”

Honestly, we’d listen to anything that came out of his mouth, especially with that NZ accent.
