In order to celebrate The Bachelorette, we thought we’d answer the question that seems to arise most often; where is the Bachelorette filmed?

The Bachelorette is filmed in Sydney, in the luxe Northen Beaches area. The contestants get to stay in a mansion located at Nelly’s Farm in the suburb of Oxford Falls, in an Australian style Hamptons house.

The incredible property was purchased in 2010 for an eye-watering $2.3 million and features half a dozen manicured gardens, endless fairy lights, a swimming pool and the roaming alpacas, which have become a staple addition on the Bachelor Australia.

Despite the plush digs, the reality tv contestants will be forced to share bunk beds, with a former Bachelor producer revealing the grounds may look expansive on the TV show, but in real life sections of the house are cut off from the contestants.

“Parts of the house are sanctioned off for crew,” the source told Yahoo. “Certain bathrooms are sanctioned off, there’s constantly lights set up. You’re not living in a home. You’re living on a set.”

Former Gogglebox star Angie Kent will be guided by Osher Gunsberg on her quest for love, following in the footsteps of Sophie Monk, Georgia Love and Sam Frost.

The Bachelorette is set to air on Wednesday, September 24.
