Is Vanessa Hudgens Returning To The ‘High School Musical’ Franchise?

The rumours are true, High School Musical is getting its own Disney TV series and longtime HSM fans could not be more excited!

Walt Disney Company chairman and CEO Bob Iger revealed the news that a series based on the popular film franchise is slated to be released in 2019 and will be launched on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

But the question is, will any of the OG cast members be involved?

We can’t imagine a HSM without Troy, Gabriella or Sharpay.

Well! The peeps at Cosmopolitan.com sussed it out for us by asking the IRL Gabriella Montez, Vanessa Hudgens about whether or not she’ll be involved in the project.

“I dunno!” Vanessa responded. “I mean, we’ll see. If they ask, who knows.”

So it sounds like she’d be keen AF to be involved if she’s asked.
