Warning: This Fan Theory About The Movie ‘Up’ Will Destroy You

NOOOOPE.

Up was probably the saddest Disney/Pixar movie we have ever seen… so are you prepared for it to become like, way sadder?

The movie follows Carl Fredricksen after losing the love of his life. He and boy scout Russel embark on a wild adventure to South America in his house via hundreds of helium balloons…

.

Anyway, according to some fans, they believe that Carl Fredrickson actually dies in his sleep after he is told that he needs to leave his home and move into a retirement home.

Everything that happens afterwards, which tbh is insane, is him in the afterlife…

Ughhhh crying already.

But what about Russel?

.

Apparently he represents Carl’s guardian angel. He’s trying to ‘earn his wings’ or final badge, by helping him.

They explained it further that Russel takes the form of a young child, to represent the fact that Carl’s beloved wife Ellie couldn’t have kids of her own.

.

CRYING SOME MORE.

When the house starts to fly, and leave the ground, it’s on its way to ‘Paradise Falls’, which is Carl’s representation of heaven.
