For the second year in a row, Melania Trump’s very odd White house Christmas decorations have sparked a sea of backlash – and we can’t help but agree that the rather ominous grove of red trees now decking the halls of the White House is less ‘festive feeling’ and more ‘horror movie’.
The first lady posted a video of her very red Christmas tree’s lining the hallway, which is currently giving everyone on the internet extreme ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ vibes.
As you can imagine, the Twitterverse has many, many opinions on Melania’s unconventional choice of holiday decoration, and some of the critiques whether they draw a comparison to Gilead or a Christmas themed horror flick, are hilarious.
Melania, maybe just stick to a green tree next year?
