Joe Goldberg is officially BACK to being a stalker creep and we’re living for it.
In the new trailer for You season two, we finally get a glimpse of Joe’s first crime… he’s changed his name.

Quite ironically, the serial killer narrates about how awful the people in LA are.
“See, that’s the thing about L.A., everyone is pretending to be someone they’re not,” says, as he tells the coffee barista that his name is WILL.
As we know already, Joe has moved from New York to LA after his disastrous descent into madness.
“You know, love has taken me to some pretty dark places,” says in the trailer, clearly referring to all the murders he committed.
The second season will continue to follow Caroline Kepnes’ novels, You and Hidden Bodies.
“It’s not that simple love-at-first-sight he might’ve been looking for a couple of years ago,” showrunner Sara Gamble said. “He’s a different guy. He’s been through more.”
Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), is Joe’s new love interest. She has been described as a “kindred spirit,” as Sara puts it. “The circumstances of his encounter with Love are very informed by what he went through with Beck.”
However, Love won’t be the only girl in Joe’s destructive path in season two.
The first season left on the wild cliffhanger that ex-girlfriend, Candace (Ambyr Childers), who we all assumed was dead, WAS ALIVE.
“She is a survivor,” Gamble says. “And now she’s faced with some really difficult decisions about how she’s going to move forward.”
Sera has also dropped a major spoiler about one scene/episode that will have us ultimately pretty disgusted.
Speaking to LADbible, she said: “At least one scene comes to mind that’s gorier and scarier than anything we had in season one,” she told the publication.
“Joe is new to Los Angeles fully intending to start over a new leaf and never being forced to do bad things again.”
“Episode two of the season has my single favourite shot that I have been a part of in my entire career.
“My career is full of blood and gore and monsters. It’s also beautifully shot and the director who shot the second episode lavished a lot of love. Joe is forced to do something he really doesn’t want to do.
“Joe is always trying to be a good guy but yet somehow he’s finding himself in these thriller, horror kind of situations. It’s terrible for him but I think it’s going to be so much fun for the audience.”
Knowing Joe, that could be anything.
The last time Joe let his emotions get the better of him, he ended up murdering the love of his life Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).
You season two hits Netflix on December 26!
