Taylor Swift’s new album Lover is almost certainly an ode to her born and bred London boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn.
In the song ‘London Boy’, Taylor details how she fell in love with a London boi, and we think that is something all us Spider-Man fans can relate too.
Even though the tune is absolutely about Joe, fans have taken the song and are instead dedicating it to the number one British boy in all our hearts (except Taylor’s) – Tom Holland.

Following the news that Tom will no longer be our Spider-Man (still fuming ’bout it TBH), fans are taking to Twitter to let their fake boyfriend know that he is still our number 1 London boy (soz Joe).
Fans have even started remixing the song so as to feature Marvel’s greatest ever Peter Parker.
If you’re wondering why Tom Holland fans may be feeling a tad emotional lately, it’s because news dropped that our fav British actor will no longer be in the Spider-Man movies.
Back in August, we reported that Sony Pictures and Disney’s Marvel Studios were fighting over money ahead of the next Spider-Man movie, with neither side able to come up with an agreement they liked.
Since then, it has been announced that Sony and Disney couldn’t make it work, meaning they will no longer be collaborating on Spider-Man.
This means Marvel Studio’s president Kevin Feige will no longer produce the films, which almost certainly means Tom Holland’s iteration of the superhero is out for any future movies.
This is huge news for fans, as the British boy’s iteration of the classic superhero has been widely regarded as one of the best so far – if not ever.

Sony could take the high road, and continue along the creative path forged by director and co-writer Jon Watts and the creative team at Marvel Studios, but knowing what we know of dudes in power, the high road seems pretty unlikely.
