Tom Hanks has officially finished recording his final lines as Woody for Toy Story 4, and we’re feeling SO sentimental about it.
In doing so, it means Hanks is saying goodbye to one of his most beloved, and iconic characters he’s ever portrayed.
Taking to his Instagram account, he shared a photo of him and the rest of the crew recording.
“Final line, final session as Woody of Toy Story 4. We rode like the wind, to infinity and beyond. Hanx.”
“When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you’re facing them so you can look right up and you can talk about it,” Hanks told BBC.

“But I didn’t want to see them and I wanted to pretend they couldn’t see me. When I realized what they were going for, I realized, ‘Oh, this is a moment in history.'”
Tom Hanks first introduced Woody to us in 1995, going on to make $1.9 billion worldwide with the three installments.
Toy Story 4 is set to be released on June 21.
