When news broke that a sequel of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was in the works, it secretly gave us hope that another Netflix film would get the same treatment.

And that film is The Kissing Booth! The dreamy rom-com starred Joey King, Joel Courtney, and Jacob Elordi and it was the most rewatched film on Netflix in 2018, with TATBILB coming second.

But according to Joey (a.k.a Elle Evans), Netflix hasn’t been in contact with the cast about a sequel.

Excuse me, what???

“Right now, we’re not really sure,” Joey recently told TV Guide. “[The cast] would love for that to happen, but everything is still up in the air. We’re still waiting on [Netflix].”

Considering how insanely popular the film was, wouldn’t it be in Netflix’s best interest to make a follow-up film?

Joey met her off-screen boyfriend Jacob Elordi on the set of The Kissing Booth, as he played her love interest Noah.

But the pair haven’t been spotted together in MONTHS and breakup rumours have been rife so we wonder how they’d feel about working together again?

Either way, we need another Kissing Booth in our lives.
