The Incredibles is one of those ICONIC Pixar movies that will go down in history as one of the best.
It was released all the way back in 2004, so fast-forward 13 years and it’s pretty safe to say that us fans are #READY for the sequel.

So, will there be a time jump? How will they make up for lost time?!
It turns out that the sequel will be picking up right where it left off! At the D23 Expo, John Lasseter revealed that, “It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on.”
The Underminer voiced by John Ratzenberger appears right at the end of the movie, alluding to the fact that he’s a villain, so the sequel begins with the Underminer.
“It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that’s where we start this movie.”
YESS!! NO TIME LOST!

Director Brad Bird also revealed that the movie will focus more heavily on Elastigirl, aka Mrs. Incredible. She will be busy adventuring while her husband will be home with the baby.
While at the Expo, he also debuted the first clip from the film. It showed Jack Jack wandering outside while his dad falls asleep. He then shows off his own superpower as he gets into a scuffle with a racoon. What is it? He can multiply.
“It’s fundamentally a story about family,” Bard added. “The technology has gotten so much better; We can get them close to what we wanted to do in the [first movie]. It’s like driving a better car.
WE.CANNOT.WAIT!!!
The Incredibles 2 will be released in 2018.
