Showing no signs of heartbreak after Matt Agnew sensationally booted her off The Bachelor, last week, Nichole Wood was spotted locking lips with former Married At First Sight star Billy Vincent. Since rumours began circulating that they’re officially an item, the reality TV star has set the record straight.

“We’re not in a relationship yet!” Nichole told TV WEEK. “We’re seeing where it goes and we’re both really cruisy about it, we enjoy each other’s company.”

The pair, who both reside in Queensland, hit it off when Billy followed her on Instagram. Days later, Nichole made the first move and messaged him after realising they’d both been at the same bar on Billy’s Instagram story.

“That sort of sparked up the conversation! Then we just kept talking, he was trying to get me to go to the Ekka with him and I didn’t end up having time because I was working, and we only finally got our schedules matched up and got our first date in last week… and it went really well as you could see.”

Despite the fact she didn’t score any one-on-one time with Matt, Nichole made a name for herself after being locked in a scandal with her co-star, Monique Morley. But, as it turns out, their seemingly bitter feud was played up for the cameras.

“Basically, when the new girls came in we were making jokes about our doppelgangers,” she told 10 daily, admitting that it started as a joke and then “everyone kept running with it”.

“I felt pressure to have this rivalry between her and I that wasn’t actually there. “I didn’t have a problem with Monique! We’re friends, we still talk to this day.”

Although she found herself at the centre of some juicy drama, Nichole said she grew tired of being the villain and decided halfway through the season that she was going to steer clear of any further conflict. So, basically, she just let Abbie Chatfield and Sogand Mohtat do all the work for her!

“The other dramas that happened were more entertaining, so I sat back because I wasn’t getting involved in those!” she said.
