Sam Cochrane‘s man bun was a hot topic on the first episode of Sophie Monk‘s series of The Bachelorette, but it seems as though it’s a newer style for the suitor.
The man-bun versus clean cut look was a hot conversation during the premiere, with Sam and multiple other contestants competing in a “walk-off” between the two different styles.
However, photos of the 31-year-old before the controversial bun have been unearthed, showing Sam looking almost unrecognisable.
In the images from his Myspace page, the voiceover artist is sporting a much shorter, darker hairstyle.
Although Monk did note that she wasn’t a fan of the popular man-bun during her first meeting with Sam, she did give hm the special Double Delight Rose, making him an early favourite.
