With the premiere right around the corner, Network 10 has gifted fans with a first look at Angie Kentas the new Bachelorette. And honestly, it’s everything we could’ve hoped for and MORE!
Trading her ugg boots for high heels and her pajamas for a gorgeous gown, with a little help from her former Gogglebox Australia co-star, Yvie Jones, the lovable reality TV star magically goes from drab to fab, as she begins her quest to find the man of her dreams!

With “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” playing in the background, the blessed teaser trailer begins with the blonde Queenslander cuddling her puppy while relaxing on the couch in her PJ’s. Staring at the screen watching people fall in love, Angie turns to her pooch and says: “Oh, Buddy, where’s my man at?”
Feels.
As if she was listening, her best friend Yvie magically appears on the TV screen, revealing she’s ready to help her find The One.
I mean, could it get ANY better than this?
“I’m going to make your dreams come true,” says Yvie, who dazzles as the fairy godmother.
With the flick of her magical wand, Angie instantly ditches her daggy clothes for a stunning bedazzled red dress, quickly saying what we were all thinking: “Damn, I look good!”
That you do, Angie. That you do!!
Stepping outside, Yvie swaps her bicycle for a decked out limousine (very on-brand) and off she goes!
Ahead of the show’s premiere, the reality TV veteran— who also starred in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! earlier this year— revealed she’s long been hoping to settle down, however, hasn’t found the right man.
“I’m definitely open to finding somebody. Home girl’s not getting any younger, so for sure.”
In March, when Angie was announced as the new Bachelorette, the 29-year-old said that while she has never been in love, she saw the show as the perfect opportunity to find a “very decent fella”.
“I’ve always been the girl who loves to make everyone laugh, but now I reckon it’s time to have someone to laugh with me, rather than at me,” Angie said in a statement.“I’m at a place now where I have loads of self-love, but I’m also open to all of life’s amazing possibilities. So, if 20 or so fellas want to join me, have a laugh and potentially be my perfect partner in life and love – I say – let’s give it a red-hot go!”
As for the type of man she’s after, although Angie says she’s not too fussy, he has to have a similar sense of humour!
“They have to be funny,” she said during a chat with Kyle and Jackie O on April 1. “Like, you need to be a bit quirky, a bit nuts. In a good way! I want to have a laugh. That’s my big thing.”
As for what her Gogglebox castmates think about her new reality gig, Angie assured fans she left the series on a good note.
“They have been so supportive. We’re like a family, you know. I’m a gogglebox girl, I’m just doing other things!”
