The Bachelorette’s Jarrod’s Ex-Girlfriend Broke Up With Him For Being Too Clingy

SHOCKER.

Last night on The Bachelorette, we saw contestant Jarrod take quickly skyrocket to stage five clinger status.

First, he painfully refused to stop changing a car tyre even though the challenged was over, and then he pulled a not-so-keen Sophie away from the group to help him plant seeds (yes, literally).

As it turns out, the intensity we’re seeing on TV is nothing new with the 31-year-old revealing his last relationship ended because it became too full on for the woman he was dating.

“I was with my last girlfriend for a year,” Jarrod told TV WEEK magazine. “It ended because I was getting too attached. She wasn’t ready to settle down as she was very work-driven.”

However, one breakup wasn’t enough to put Jarrod off love, in fact, and he’s definitely liking what he sees with Sophie.

“The first moment when Sophie and I kissed, that was so cool,” he said last week. “I was a kid in a candy store, like, I just thought, ‘Oh my God – all your dreams just came true.'”

Though we’re sure Jarred has good intentions, the way he’s going about wooing Soph, and his super competitive streak, has the nation a bit worried…
