If you’re a Bachie lover and currently can’t get enough of the Bachelor in Paradise, then we have some exciting news for you: ABC has announced yet another Bachelor spin-off series is on its way. Introducing The Proposal.
So how will it be different from The Bachelor and some of our other favourite spin-offs like The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise? The Proposal will be a 10 episode series that will find men and women trying to vie for the affections of a suitor or suitress over four rounds of what ABC referred to as a “pageant-style competition” during the course of a one-hour episode.
The two remaining finalists, after completing the four “mystery rounds,” will then get to meet the mystery man or woman and they both have the opportunity to propose.
If you’re up to date with the Bachelor US, expect to see a familiar face returning.
ABC also announced that Jesse Palmer, a former NFL player who was also the leading suitor on the fifth season of The Bachelor in 2004, will be hosting the highly anticipated series.
The Proposal is set to air to air in June, however, there is no confirmation whether there will be an Aussie version of the series. If so, we hope to see the return of some of our favourite Aussie Bachelors and Bachelorettes. Maybe Apollo or Flo?
