OMG – it finally happened!
You may not have noticed, but Matt Agnew’s parents were mysteriously missing from this season of The Bachelor, with contestants being treated to Matt’ best friends, Jason and Kate.
Viewers were a little concerned that the absence of Matt’s parents either meant Matt’s mum and dad didn’t approve of Matt’s decision to find love on reality television or that they weren’t a very close family.
But never fear, because it seems that Matt and his mumma bear are indeed close – and she is a fan of Chelsie!

Taking to Instagram, Matt posted a photo of his arms around his mum and Chelsie along with the caption: “Finally giving Chelsie the grilling she deserves. #dinnerwithmum”
So we can all assume Chelsie and Matt’s mum are best friends now?
The road after the Bachelor finale hasn’t been a smooth one for Matt, with public figures such as The Project’s Lisa Wilkinson and the comedians on Have You been Paying Attention giving Matt an extrmemely hard time as to why he aggressively made out with Abbie, only to pick Chelsie as his winner the next day.
Seemingly responding to all the drama, an unfazed Matt has made it VERY clear where his heart lies, taking to Instagram to post a sweet dedication post to Chelsie.
Posting a photo of Chelsie sitting in a makeup chair, Matt wrote: “With or without makeup: babe.”
