While it’s clear these ladies have been frontrunners from the get-go, it may come as a surprise to learn that Bachelor fan-favourite Elly Miles doesn’t make it to the top four!

In what will no doubt be an emotionally charged episode, this year’s hunky Bachelor, Matt Agnew, will wave goodbye to the affable nurse on Wednesday evening.

Following the rose ceremony, the top four contestants will introduce Matt to their nearest and dearest during hometown visits.

As we near the end of the season, WHO obtained all of the juicy pics from the ladies’ home town dates. While we’re not entirely sure what the Bachelorettes have in store for Matt, judging by the adorable snaps, sparks are flying!

ABBIE CHATFIELD

She might have an undeniable connection with this year’s Bachelor, but Abbie hasn’t made herself a favourite in her fellow contestants’ eyes. At the beginning of the season, she ruffled a few feathers (to put it mildly) when she outed her rival Monique Morley for calling Matt a “dog c**t” behind his back. Although the scandal brought her closer to Matt, she quickly became an outlier in the Bachelor mansion, with both Elly Miles and Sogant Mohtat slamming the 23-year-old for her “manipulative” behaviour.

“I couldn’t hold back after seeing how Abbie was one way in front of us girls when the cameras were rolling, then another way to Matt. She is a manipulator and it is time I tell her how it is,” Sogand recently told Sunday Confidential.“I think she is very young and I don’t think she understands that some of us are older and can see through the bulls**t,” she concluded.

Regardless of Abbie’s choices, it’s clear she and Matt have chemistry! During their hometown visit, the loved up pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they soaked up the sun in Queensland before enjoying a romantic picnic on the beach.

EMMA ROCHE

After coming on a little too strong and telling Matt she’s hoping to settle down, Emma was branded as this season’s stage five clinger. However, after peeling back the layers and getting to know her, Matt’s been smitten with the brand manager ever since!

“I thought there would be a connection, but I didn’t know how strongly and quickly it would develop,” Matt told the producers after their first single date. “The fact that Emma is so open and honest about what she wants, only makes me like her more.”

Goal-oriented, emotionally mature, and determined to find The One, Emma has kept her nose out of the drama and, as a result, Matt has never doubted her intentions.

“I can’t wipe the smile off my face,” Matt said during an episode. “I know without a shadow of a doubt that Emma’s here to find love and she’s here to get to know me.”

During their single date in NSW, Matt and Emma packed on the PDA and later embarked on a romantic stroll with Emma’s two dogs, Teddy and Bear.

CHELSIE MCLEOD

From the moment they laid eyes on each other, it was clear there was an unexplainable connection between Matt and Chelsie.

When they first met, the Victorian beauty presented Matt with a special gift— a temporary tattoo of the chemical formula for “oxytocin” i.e. the love chemical— and to her disbelief, he understood the formula!

“I can’t believe he is smart,” Chelsea told the cameras after their encounter. “That is so exciting. I actually didn’t think he would be able to understand what I was talking about at all!

HELENA SAUZIER

Although her last single date with Matt turned into a disaster— when the pressure of planning out the next 10 years with Matt by her side became too much to handle—eagle-eyed fans are convinced she might have actually won The Bachelor’s heart. After Matt shared a photo of himself at the beach during sunset late last month, everyone went into meltdown when they realised the hunky 32-year-old was holidaying in Helena’s home town of Broome, Western Australia.

Despite their budding romance, the snaps we obtained from their most recent date appear to cast a shadow of doubt on their relationship. In the photos, Helena looks visibly upset as she cries in Matt’s arms before he drops her home. It appears as though the couple were in the midst of an argument seeing as Matt quickly stormed off, leaving Helena alone.
