Every teen TV show coming to Stan in June

June 6: RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5 Premiere

The latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars sees queens from Season 1 to Season 10, including Shea Couleé, Miz Cracker and Jujubee, compete to be part of the Drag Race hall of fame.

The first episode will premiere on the 6th of June with remaining episodes releasing every Saturday.

June 12: Geordie Shore seasons 17-19

Looking for more Newcastle-upon-Tyne reality TV goodness? Well, we’re happy to report that the next three seasons of MTV’s Geordie Shore are arriving on Stan on the 12th of June.

June 1: Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is a 2008 teen rom-com based on Louise Rennison’s novel Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal Snogging. The film follows 14-year-old Georgia Nicholson (played by Rupert Grint’s baby mama, Georgia Groome) as she recounts the ups and downs of high school, tries to find a boyfriend and organises her 15th birthday party (talk about a busy bee!).

June 1: Ghost

On the same day as Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Stan are releasing the classic rom-com thriller Ghost, starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. Ghost follows the couple Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Molly (Demi Moore) after Sam is murdered and becomes a ghost, communicating to the love of his life through a psychic (Whoopi Goldberg) embarking Molly on an investigation about her boyfriend’s death.

Fun fact: it’s where that classic scene of Swayze and Moore romantically moulding a pot together comes from.

June 8: Bridget Jones’s Diary trilogy

On the 8th of June, Stan is gifting us with the ultimate rom-com trilogy in the Bridget Jones’s Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and Bridges Jones’s Baby. The series follows Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) and Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), as they figure out life and love.

June 13: Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids, which is quite possibly the best rom-com girl flick in the last decade, is coming to Stan on the 13th of June and we honestly cannot wait for it.

June 15: Umbrellas of Cherbourg

If you want a classic romance that’ll make you weep buckets, on the 16th of June, Stan are releasing Umbrellas of Cherbourg, a gorgeously colourful French film from the 1960s about a woman torn between the man she loves and father of her soon to be child, and a man her family wants her to marry. 

Make sure to have a box of tissues nearby when watching this one, folks. 

June 30: Young Girls of Rochefort

If you’re looking for some ‘60s fashion inspo and something to scratch your La La Land itch, we totally recommend checking out the French musical-comedy Young Girls of Rochefort. The film follows a pair of twin sisters, Delphine and Solange, who are discovered and pursue a career in stardom and romance.
