Since Taylor Swift‘s shady AF track “Look What You Made Me Do” dropped less than a week ago, everyone has been searching for clues within the lyrics to figure out what the song is about and, more importantly, WHO it’s about.
Then came the music video where even more tea was spilled and with it, more theories emerged (click here for our analysis).
But tbh, we’ve just been waiting for Tay or a member of her all-powerful squad to confirm the meaning behind the song…
And a squad member has finally come forward!
Tay’s friend and backup dancer who appears in the “LWYMMD” video Todrick Hall spoke out about the meaning behind the song in a new interview with ET.
“I’m so inspired by her,” he said.
“And when she says, ‘Look what you made me do,’ she means, ‘Look what you made me do… you made me break records, you made me sell more records than anyone else’…it’s just really insane.”
Um, that is DEFINITELY not what everyone’s been saying!
Although to be fair, would Taylor really let a squad member spill the tea on her?
We don’t think so.
Looks like all will be revealed in more detail when her album is released on November 10.
Come at us, Reputation!
