Taylor Swift has officially dropped the music video for her hit new shade filled tune “Look What You Made Me Do,” prepare yourselves… it’s intense.
Although the song seemed like a direct hit at Kimye, the video is FULL of saltiness towards Tom Hiddleston, Katy Perry but most importantly HERSELF.
So let’s break it down for y’all…
OPENING…
The opening is full-on graveyard with Taylor as a zombie, burying her “old self.” We already covered this in the song, the old Taylor is dead. Zombie Taylor is dressed in her “Out Of The Woods” dress… the last song she came out with before this one.
TAYLOR IN A BATH TUB
Next we see Taylor all glammed up in a bath tub, covered in jewels. HmMmM.. What could this mean? We decipher this as Taylor referencing Kim Kardashian‘s armed robbery in Paris, where she was put into a bath tub. Taylor even motions a gun with her fingers…
TAYLOR ON A THRONE
Next we see ‘New Taylor’ sitting upon her golden throne with snakes slithering around her. She’s ready to slay everyone in her past.
TAYLOR IN A VAULT FULL OF KITTENS
Taylor is in a vault, wearing a top with a tiger on it (Katy Perry reference much?!) with with kittens dancing around her… also a reference to Katy.
DICTATOR TAYLOR
Next we see Taylor as the leader of an army, which we can assume is a nod to her “squad” that everyone is so obsessed with. Is she calling them out for being ~plastic~??? Who knows.
In the background there is a projection of the words “Kitty Squad.”
However it could also be directed at Kanye‘s Yeezy fashion shows, which usually has models standing in formation.
TOM HIDDLESTON
In the scene where everyone has accused Taylor of copying Beyonce‘s “Formation” video, her backup dancers rip off their jacket’s to reveal their shirts, “I

OLD TAYLOR’S
The most shocking scene is towards the end, when Taylor is standing on top of a huge pile of bodies. Whose bodies? HER OWN!
Each body is a representation of her old self, for example: “Shake It Off” Taylor, “22” Taylor, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” Taylor, “Fearless” Taylor and all the rest of her songs…
We also see her wearing the exact outfit she wore to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards with Calvin Harris, when they were so in love 3.
During this scene Taylor is wearing black fur, which could be a reference to Katy Perry’s tweet, “Be aware of Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”
“IMMA LET YOU FINISH”
At the end, new Taylor and all her old selves are standing in a line. The most important one being Taylor as her 2009 self accepting the award for the best Music Video, when Kanye infamously interrupted her.
All the old Taylor’s start arguing with each other, saying things like, “Oh stop acting like you’re so nice, you are SO fake!” and “Oh there she goes, playing the victim again!”
