There’s exactly one week until Taylor Swift‘s highly anticipated comeback album, Reputation is unleashed upon the world and we cannot friggen’ wait!
And lucky for us thirsty fans, the squad mama has given us another glimpse into the album by releasing a new track, “Call It What You Want”.
The 27-year-old teased the track on social media early this morning with a type-written note that features some of the song’s lyrics on it.
The ~*rOmAnTiC*~ tune is about finding solace in your bae when there’s loads of sh*t going down in your personal life.
Lyrics like “I brought a knife to a gun fight/ The took the crown but it’s alright” and “All the liars are calling me one/Nobody’s heard from me for months”, refers to a certain drama that she had to deal with (ahem, Kim and Kanye perhaps?).
But meanwhile, her man (we’re thinking either Tom Hiddleston or Joe Alwyn) was there to get her through it.
“Holding my breath/ Slowly I said/ ‘You don’t need to save me,” “But would you run away with me?” … “Yes” she adds.
It’s a total throwback to Tay’s “Love Story” era with all of them ‘Romeo save me’ vibes.
And without any further adieu, here’s “Call It What You Want”…
