It’s official. Jordan Fisher is engaged!
The 25-year-old popped the question to his girlfriend Ellie Woods at her parent’s beach house in their Alabama hometown.
Jordan met Ellie when he was 13 and she was eight years old and they became best friends. Their relationship turned romantic as they got older and the Dancing With the Stars winner told People that he knew Ellie was “the one” only “two months into dating.”
“5/20/19 – I asked my best friend a question…and she said yes. 😍 I love you so much, Ellie Woods. Can’t wait to make you my wife MY WIFE,” Jordan wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of the proposal.
Ellie didn’t see the proposal coming at all, which proves that Jordan did a great job in keeping it a secret!
“When we started to pull into the neighborhood he was just going on about how we’ve been friends for so long, and I wasn’t really picking up on it,” Ellie told People. “Then we pulled into my parents’ house and I was like, ‘What is that?’ We stopped, got out of the car and Jordan walked me to our backyard where there’s a little deck over the pond.”
And if this whole thing couldn’t get anymore heartwarming, Jordan himself became teary as he proposed.
“I’m an emotional person, so I was sobbing as well,” he said.
Jordan will be starring as John Ambrose in the upcoming To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel (called P.S I Still Love You).
