2018 has been a year of transition for Tammy Hembrow and Reece Hawkins.
They started out as a happy family of four, the proud parents of their two kids Saskia, two, and Wolf, three.
But in June, the couple called off their engagement engagement ending their 4 year relationship.
And the exes have continued with the thinly veiled swipes ever since.
Hawkins spoke about his views on Hembrow’s public parenting approachwhen he was asked by a fan, “Where [are] your kids, mate?”
“[I’ve] seen my kids every day last week. I just don’t feel the need to post them all the time,” he replied on the Instagram message.
“They’re getting older and have their own personalities and they can choose if they want to be posted or not when they’re a bit older.”
“I just let them be kids and try and enjoy my time with them on the days I get to spend time and see them for now.”
This isn’t the first time Hawkins has shared his desire to get the little ones off social media.
Following his split, at a PR event, he remarked, “Within the next 12 months, I’ll take [my children] off all of my social media.”
“Just because they’re starting to get their own personalities and things like that, and I don’t want to force them into anything they don’t want to do or make them take a picture when they don’t.”
“They’re their own people, they’re not babies any more. People recognise them.”
While Hembrow hasn’t commented on her ex’s views – she did post a very cryptic photo.
The 24-year-old posted a selfie, quoting Ariana Grande, she penned, “Thank u, next 🙄”
